Lucky spells for fast luck and good

fortune

Feng shui places a lot of emphasis on energy (commonly known as chi), and the main door is the entry point for chi. Before the wealth chi enters your house, you may boost its energy with floor mat.

The floor mat technique combines the feng shui principles of colors, elements and flying star feng shui 2009 so that you may more accurately boost your wealth luck. This year, those with main door facing northwest, southwest, south and southeast may make use of the floor mat technique to attract more wealth.

Pearls - Symbol of Good Luck

The magical and romantic beauty of pearls has always attracted jewelry lovers and women for many centuries have adorned them in different ways. For some a must possess gift item as a symbol of pure love and affection and good luck.

Because of its unrivaled beauty it was customary among ancient Greeks to offer them as wedding gift and its possession considered a sign of happy marriage and sacred love. This belief is still prevalent among many folks. Indian Maharajas and Queens had always adorned themselves with the precious pearls jewelry and Hindus and Chinese, during ancient times, always considered the pearls as a sign of love, health and prosperity. Many believed that it's a tear from the Heaven or Goddess that nurtures in oyster's womb.

Pearls are also the birthstones for people who are born in the month of June.
Ancient history tells us that Egyptian used to bury them alongside the dead bodies. Famous Cleopatra queen, that she could consume the wealth of her entire nation in just one meal, reportedly had dissolved a single pearl in a glass of wine and drank it, simply to win a wager with Marc Anthony.

In Roman Empire these natural beautiful gems were considered ultimate symbol of wealth and prosperity. These were also treasured as a unique symbol of showing great opulence. There are many other luck stones that often people believe to carry good luck or ward off some bad evil things happening in life. And that's a big moneymaking industry based upon such old traditions and beliefs by all kinds of astrologers and palmists or Tarot card promoters.

Good Luck Charms

Perhaps there are unwritten laws that govern people's good and bad fortune or maybe it is all about chance; yet, whichever be the case, people seem to put a lot of trust and hope into good luck charms for instance. Tiny horseshoes, four-leafed cloves, Chinese luck symbols and all sorts of amulets are available for casual or formal wear on necklaces or bracelets.

The main advantage of good luck charms is that they encourage positive feelings and good energies that influence not only love and finances but the course of one's life on the whole. However, most of the beliefs in themselves act as main stimulants or carriers of the energy in good luck charms.

There are other ways to use good luck charms besides the regular combination with neck and wrist jewelry. Thus, charms go well with rear view mirrors in cars, on zippers, brief cases, bags or in various parts of the house: in the area where you work such as the office, the desk or the computer to enhance the capacity to concentrate and run good businesses.

If in the past people relied on coins as fortune bearers, good luck charms prove fashionable nowadays. They make excellent gifts too particularly as they get imbued with the emotion of the giver besides their very practical protective nature.

Two major categories of good luck charms can be identified: some of them include some well-established symbols that are part of a tradition while there are others with a non-specific implication that have a good luck significance only according to the wearer's personal impressions. Thus, one often begins to think that a charm brings good luck after a succession of events that conducted to the conclusion.

Such actions and reactions are not simple speculations as some scientific tests have revealed a basis for such claims starting from studies that analyzed the capacity of animate and non-animate structures to gather and give away energy.

Statistics indicate a thirty percent rate of higher success with people wearing good luck charms, based on direct investigations on pendant wearers. Such jewels or amulets are pretty cheap, they can be purchased online or from jewel shops; yet, beware the fact that personal actions are also very important in the determination of good or bad fortune. Sometimes, it takes more than good luck, as efforts are necessary to fulfill a set goal or enjoy achievements.

Western Luck vs Chinese Luck

The Western concept of luck can be summed up by the way we define it. The definition I found in my home copy of the Collins English Dictionary of luck is:

“1. Events that are beyond control and seem subject to chance; fortune”.
This concept of “beyond control” and “subject to chance” is the key in understanding the Western view to all things lucky or unlucky. To understand any other concept or definition of luck, we need to look at what we think we are, our purpose or fate;

what or who are we?
We (in the West) consider ourselves privy to favour by our society, religion and/or philosophy. However we are disadvantaged by limited understanding of what we are. To illustrate, our belief systems are influenced by:

• Our parents
• Our Teachers/Schooling
• Our Society
• Our Culture, Traditions and Locality (Country)

These form our paradigms, the way we see things. Personal paradigms are formed by either accepting information uncritically from an external source, as evidence that satisfies our acceptance or through experience. This in turn affects the way we think about external references and we make decisions based on both the way we think (influenced/guided by our paradigms) and how we perceive circumstances.

To understand the grand plan, we turn to religion, science or philosophy, nothing wrong with that. As a matter of fact, so do our Eastern counterparts. The key difference is what information is being fed to establish early paradigms in our Eastern neighbours that makes the understanding or perspective of ‘Luck’ so different.

In the West we think in terms of rationality, what is logical and reasonable. Things do happen by mere chance, thereby these events are lucky or fortunate. Until recently there is little understanding of the universal connectivity, the inter-relationship of everything.

In the Chinese culture (specifically) their paradigms are established and based on their common philosophy. The common aspects of this philosophy, like in the West are based on the oldest aspects of knowledge which remain unchallenged or in the face of contrary evidence remain unobjectionable.

In the Chinese instance the paradigms are formed around the accepted beliefs of universal connectivity, Heaven, Earth and Human Qi (life energy or life force) and that their luck is blended with destiny and fate.

The Chinese believe that we; our characteristics, destiny and fate are tied to the first breath at the time of your birth. Literally it is understood and accepted that the first post-natal breath taken we consume the specific Qi present at that exact moment and with this breath we receive our destiny and luck.

Therefore the cycle nature of Qi as understood via almanacs like the “Yijing” (Book of Changes) and the “Treatise of Harmonising Times and Distinguishing Directions” document the nature of Qi and how to ensure the positives are amplified whilst the negatives are minimized; thereby maximizing persons “luck”.

One other consideration in the Chinese understanding of luck is similar to the Hindu understanding of “karma”. “Man-luck” is the accumulation of good fortune through good/virtuous deeds. Man-luck is collected by using the “golden rule” (treating others how you would want to be treated), assisting others who are less fortunate than you, giving before expecting to receive and maintaining diligence over your mind in the search for auspicious opportunities to serve.

The practice of Feng Shui is the environmental equivalent; by the combination of Heaven, Earth and Human luck (via Qi) collected via controlling your environment. This is conducted by using traditional Feng Shui practices resulting in the amplification of positive Qi and the minimization of negative Qi in your home, schooling and working environments.

Change Your Mind; Change Your Luck

When I was a young man, even a teenager for that matter, I always had an optimism that was hard for others to overcome. Even in the midst of the all the negative influences from family and peers, this positive optimism was difficult to beat down. I was powerful, I was lucky, life was magic. I remember it like it was yesterday.

It didn't matter how many times I was chased home. It didn't matter how many times the girls bullied me. It didn't matter how many times my father beat me. It didn't matter how many times the teachers picked on me. I just knew; This is not it! There is more greatness to come! When I was kicked out and made to join the military, I wasn't feeling particularly lucky at that time but I still had that positive attitude.

Sure there was grief, and I knew, I just knew that there were still great things to come. I did my military service and got out and that pervasive optimism, while struggling for a while arose and pulled me into the most amazing journey within another set of circumstances that saw many wonderful things happen.

As I remember, my body begins to remember. There is an energy that lives inside the memory, it's not just the mind. I am lucky. Life is good. Great things will happen. This is exciting. What next? Bring it on. Even when the bad stuff happens, it's acceptance was easy. "Okay, that's okay, this will pass and even greater things are coming." That's all I had to say. More often than not, these statements have proven true, time and time again.

It's the power of your mind and body. The power of belief. The power of faith. The power of trusting. It's inside - not outside. Energize yourself, your body, your mind, keep checknig in, keeping boosting yourself. It's a game and so is life. There are no winners and losers; just you. Abundance is everywhere, there is plenty of love, money, opportunities, peace, and more to go around! Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change.

I'm writing this today from the memory that has come alive in my body, not just a mind-memory. The outcome has been new friends, new opportunities, new clients, new energy, new aliveness, joy, and happiness. Not just with life - even more - with me, my purpose, my talent and gifts, and the embracing of this knowledge and truth.

If you find yourself strugglnig with those truths of yourself, look at the negative influences that pull you from peace and eliminate them from your life. Better to be alone and soar like an eagle than to be in the company of oppressors and jealousy that robs you of your magic, your inspiration, your value, your purpose, and your life.A victim no longer, take responsibility for the choices, the people, the actions, that are keeping you prisoner to your fears. Time for freedom, for love, for magic, for purpose and passion. Live out loud! Love freely!

What Causes Bad Luck?

What causes bad luck? To begin with we have to admit that sometimes events are just random, or at least with causes beyond our ability to understand at the moment. Therefore even the luckiest person will have occasional "bad luck." On the other hand, it is unlikely that a person who is normally lucky will become truly unlucky. The bad times will be limited and rare. Why?

It is because those who are lucky are habitually thinking in a particular way and doing things in a particular way. Others have their own ways of thinking and operating as well, and those habits are part of what causes bad luck. Let's take a look at one of them.

Blaming Causes Bad Luck

Blaming and making excuses are ways to avoid taking responsibility for one's own life. It is a common trait among unlucky people. However, if you suggest that there is no value to blaming, and that it may even cause more bad luck, the blamer is likely to get very irritated. "But it really was his fault," he might insist.

It really might be someone's fault, right? Other people really can contribute to a person's bad luck or bad situation. Why then, can blaming be a bad habit that brings more bad situations? It is because a focus on the outside factors that "cause" your problems takes your power away. You essentially concede defeat when you repeatedly blame other people or circumstances for your problems, and conceding defeat isn't very productive, is it?

Many unlucky people can point out every person and circumstance that is to blame for their bad luck, but they cannot see what their own contribution to their situation is. Blaming and excuse making is a terrible approach to life. It eventually makes looking for causes outside oneself automatic. It is difficult for such a person to ever recognize the personal changes they need to make.

Let's illustrate this with an example. A man wants to start a lawn-care business, and his friend agrees to be his partner. But the bank decides not to loan him the money for the trailer and mowers he needs. Then he finds that his friend doesn't seem to want to work as hard as he does at getting this business going. The whole thing starts to fall apart, and he tells anyone who will listen that it is the fault of the friend who won't work hard, and the bank that broke their promise to lend the money.

But are these the causes of his failure? If he quits at this point, it will seem like it to him, and he'll think he is unlucky. On the other hand, if he learns his lessons and takes responsibility for making the business work, he'll almost certainly succeed in time and see these as mere bumps in the road to success. Then he will be seen as "lucky," and he will be, but because he stopped focusing on blaming.

Good Luck

Good luck, people called it, when a couple I know had a business handed to them for free. It was making a little money, but the owner didn't want to deal with it anymore. Other things were going on in his life, and he just wanted to drop the whole business. However, the lease on the building the business was in still had nine months to go.

This is where my friends enter the story. The owner had a problem, and they had a solution. Here are three reasons they had a business given to them, and why they were so "lucky."
1. They let the man tell his story, and they listened.
2. They looked at the business, and saw the opportunity.
3. They worked, doing what it took to benefit from their "good luck."

Good Luck Comes From Preparation

You can say they were lucky. The owner agreed to give them the business if they would simply take over the lease on the building. The biggest reason for their good luck however, includes the ones given, and goes beyond them: They were ready.

Having some money in the bank made it possible to handle the transition. They had previous experience with a small business. They were willing to learn what they needed to learn, and were mentally prepared to work.

Another example: John was "so lucky" to get a $6,000 car for $2,000 at an auction, a friend told me. I mentioned that John went to the auction regularly, that he had made himself familiar with car values, and that he always kept money available for such opportunities. Of course, it didn't seem to register with my friend.

My friend could have been "so lucky," too, but he had to be ready. He might have saved $2,000, or obtained a credit card with a high enough limit, or arranged with someone to borrow the money and split the profits when deals like this came up. Since he didn't do any of these things, there was no opportunity here for him.

If you want good luck, aren't there always thing you can do to prepare? To be lucky in love, you comb your hair, right? If you want opportunities in the stock market, start studying, setting aside money to invest, and exploring the possibilities. Prepare for opportunity, and it will come more often. Good luck!

About This Blog

The good luck charms we have today may have originated from a certain culture. Almost all the cultures around the globe revere a certain object and use it as their personal charm. Through all seven continents, the use of charms and amulets is really prevalent. Contrary to our mediocre belief, these charms and amulets may be made from makeshift and crude materials. It doesn't necessarily have to be crafted out of a precious piece of crystal
